Imam Saimir Ismaili is the Director of the Konak Institute Muzeum Project in Tirana, Albania. He is a graduate of the Madrasa of Tirana and later received a BA in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies from Ajman in the United Arab Emirates.

He is currently completing an MA in Islamic Jurisprudence from the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Novi Pazar. He served for 17 years as the khatib and imam of the Pazar Mosque in Tirana. For over a decade now, he has worked tirelessly toward the collection and preservation of Islamic artifacts that survived communism, forming a collection that serves as the foundation of the Muzeum Project.
