Kujtime Kotorri
Kujtime (Mimi) Kotorri is an Albanian-based architect and consultant, specializing in architectural design and the restoration of cultural heritage monuments. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Epoka University in 2012, followed by a Master of Science in Architecture from the same institution in 2013. In 2020–2021, she completed a Master’s degree in Restoration of Cultural Heritage Monuments at the Faculty of Architecture & Urbanism in Tirana.
Ms. Kotorri has actively contributed to numerous national and international projects, initiatives, competitions, and organizations since 2010, playing a significant role in the preservation and promotion of Albania’s architectural legacy.
In 2016, she participated in the archaeological survey at the Castle of Turra. In 2021, she became a member of the Franco-Albanian Mission for Archaeological Research and Heritage Management, “The Drin Valley in the Middle Ages: Sarda, Komani and Lezha,” led by Ms. E. Nallbani, focusing on studying of urban architecture and historic landscapes in the middle ages.
Appointed as a European Heritage Youth Ambassador by Europa Nostra in 2022, Ms. Kotorri co-founded the Albanian Heritage Conservation Foundation in 2023, underscoring her unwavering commitment to the safeguarding and promotion of Albania’s rich cultural heritage.
