His doctoral thesis, La sacralizzazione della politica nell'Albania comunista (1944–1991), a study of the sacralization of politics in communist Albania, was published in Italy in 2024 and subsequently translated into Albanian as Sakralizimi i politikës në Shqipërinë komuniste (1944–1991). His work examines the ideological, symbolic, and quasi-religious dimensions of political authority under Albanian state socialism.

His research engages questions of political theology, historical memory, historiography, and the relationship between ideology and scholarship.
