The Konak Institute presented the vision for the Museum of Islamic Art and Heritage at the historic Toptani Saraj in Tirana, positioning it as a new cultural and intellectual center dedicated to Albania’s Islamic legacy. Announced during an international conference attended by Prime Minister Edi Rama and distinguished international figures, the project aims to preserve and showcase rare artifacts and manuscripts while fostering research, education, and public engagement.

Conceived as a dynamic institution, the museum will integrate exhibition spaces with educational and research facilities, contributing to the revitalization of the site and establishing a lasting platform for the study and appreciation of Islamic art and heritage in Albania.
